Overview & Responsibilities:
The SVP of Studio Content Operations is responsible for overseeing Content & Digital Asset Management, Studio Quality Control, Metadata & Data Governance, and Marketing Content Operations. This role reports to the EVP and Head of Studio Content Operations & Global Distribution. The SVP will provide leadership and guidance to their department heads and drive innovative strategies related to new and emerging technologies for the Studio. They will collaborate with Post-Production, Global Distribution, Localization and Business Administration on optimizing streamlined workflows, budgeting and implementation of systems. This position also works closely with Production, Marketing, Business & Legal Affairs, and Technology.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee the centralization of media management and digital archival processes while strategizing the most effective use of emerging technologies and systems. Advise and implement new technologies as it relates to media storage and the studio's global digital assets archive, used for worldwide distribution on all platforms, channels and consumer products.
• Set global metadata and data governance standards for the Studio, of all series, film and marketing ensuring seamless efficiencies across all regions. Research, select and implement new technologies/platforms related to global metadata, insuring API integration with other technical corporate systems.
• Lead ongoing Development and implementation of a comprehensive process for global marketing localization and distribution across MTVE, Showtime, Paramount Media Networks, Nickelodeon, and Awesomeness Studios. Ensure seamless alignment with regional and international needs while enabling Paramount international and MTVE/Nickelodeon international channels to leverage previously untapped media and advertising opportunities with day/date/time localized campaigns.
• Drive innovation by researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and workflows to streamline Studio Quality Control processes for both the Studio, company's media supply chain, and their touchpoints. Ensure seamless integration across teams and maintain consistency in providing high-quality media operations solutions.
• Facilitate positive exchanges and foster collaboration between Studio teams and heads of platform engineering, product, and supply chain technical operations. Focus on delivering value and efficiencies through system advancements and new rollouts.
• Serve as the Studio's primary advisor on all aspects of the Cloud Media Supply Chain. Collaborate and work closely with Paramount Global tech engineers on proprietary systems like the Central Repository (CRMAM) and other media supply chain workflows.
• Partner with departmental leaders (Technical Engineering, Distribution, Programming, Production, etc.) to ensure Studio Media Operations teams are aligned with broader company roll-out strategies.
• Ensure content and application security protocols are adhered to across the Studio, reduce overall security risk, and liase with corporate technology to evolve security best-practices and workflows as business needs evolve. Act as point of escalation for team when there are potential QC, archival, metadata, governance or global marketing issues.
Basic Qualifications
• 15 years of experience working in technical distribution/post facility for film and/or TV.
• Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations.
• Proven ability to manage teams with a track record of delivering high-profile film and television projects on time and within budget.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings with short notice. Knowledge of 4k Post Production Workflow and Final Delivery for both theatrical and streaming.
• Strong negotiation skills and marketplace/vendor knowledge.
• Highly effective multitasker, problem-solver and collaboration with the ability to manage multiple high-difficulty projects simultaneously. Ability to build and maintain positive, constructive working relationships with internal departments.
• Positive approach, tactful and efficient communication skills, and the capacity to work autonomously.
• Can adapt to a continuously changing technological environment, proactively staying up to date on industry trends and anticipating future-state Studio needs.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $285,000.00 - 315,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
