The Simon & Schuster Summer 2022 Internship Program will offer students an unmatched, behind-the-scenes look and learning experience within the world of book publishing. Interns will be placed within a variety of areas including editorial, marketing, publicity and production where they will be able to explore all aspects of the industry. While guided by a mentor they will experience ''a day in the life'' of an entry level assistant. Interns will be included in all department and company meetings and will be able to contribute to ongoing projects. No prior experience in publishing is required but a love of books and storytelling is a must.
This is a paid program and will run full time for 8 weeks (40 hours per week) beginning in June. To be eligible for the program students MUST be able to commit to the full 8 weeks and MUST be a full time student in either an undergraduate or graduate program.
