What You’ll Do:
• Organize editorial projects after performance capture shoots, including syncing production audio during offline editing
• Coordinate organization of video reference selects in ShotGrid and SyncSketch for director review
• Assist in preparing HMC video delivery for facial performance ingestion after editorial lock
• Upload, organize, and maintain Video Reference Edits (VRE) in ShotGrid
• Export EDLs and OMFs of locked scenes for assembly and audio teams
• Edit and maintain voice-overs for background characters and enemies
• Organize raw behind-the-scenes footage and audio for future marketing
• Manage collaboration among audio, video, and design teams
• Refine processes for improved efficiency and quality
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
• Maintain video production equipment and editing software
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience in video editing and post-production
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Understanding of video compression formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolution standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for video games and interactive entertainment
Preferred:
• Experience in video game development or the gaming industry
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Maya
• Familiarity with game capture software (OBS Studio, Elgato Game Capture)
• Basic understanding of game development pipelines
Salary:
The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $75,000 – $105,000, with additional benefits and compensation based on location, qualifications, and experience.
