Administrative Professional – Operations Team
Location:
Los Angeles, CA
Description:
Skydance Media is looking for an experienced administrative professional to join the Operations team, responsible for supporting office management and assisting with administrative tasks. This is a six-month role with the possibility of extension, supporting a high-volume desk within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage operational tasks, including tracking office supplies, preparing meetings, delivering mail, and answering the main phone line.
• Monitor facility conditions, ensuring common areas (conference rooms, kitchens) are maintained and notifying relevant parties of issues.
• Handle incoming calls and email correspondence, screening as needed.
• Assist with inter-office moves, special events coordination, and shipping/receiving packages via USPS and FedEx.
• Coordinate access for new employees and manage as-needed administrative coverage for absent staff.
• Manage department calendar, schedule meetings, process expense reports, and organize travel arrangements.
• Support research tasks, tracking materials, rights, and contact information as required.
• Take detailed meeting notes when needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle confidential matters, and interface with all levels of staff, including C-suite leaders.
• Experience in entertainment, media, or production preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $20.00 - $22.00 in Los Angeles, dependent on qualifications, location, and experience. Total compensation may include additional bonus and benefits.
