Coordinator, Business & Legal Affairs (Features)
Skydance's live-action Features department is looking for a Coordinator to join the Business & Legal Affairs team to support 2 SVPs and a Counsel. The ideal candidate has experience in providing administrative support in the entertainment industry, stellar organization skills, and an enthusiasm for starting their career in a fast paced, collegial environment.
Responsibilities
• Manage Executives calendars, coordinate meetings and appointments
• Screen and respond to incoming call volume and email correspondence
• Manage communication with internal and external contacts including staff and management, agents, executives, creative talent, legal teams, etc.
• Create, maintain, and organize shared databases and electronic filing systems
• Draft, format, review, and revise correspondence and other written materials including agreements, letters, memos, cover sheets, and other legal documents
• Redline and version-compare agreements
• Coordinate with productions regarding day-to-day Business & Legal Affairs services
• Ad hoc projects and duties as required
Requirements
• Juris Doctor Degree
• Bar Exam passage (preferred)
• 1 year administrative experience (preferred)
• Legal experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of entertainment landscape (e.g. agencies, law firms)
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Strong project management, time management, and long-term planning skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and mange a high volume of multiple and competing tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Intellectually curious, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and reasoning skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently through demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential information and interface with all levels of management
• Team player who operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
The hourly range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $29.00–31.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
