This is a Full Time Job
As Junior Associate Counsel you will be providing legal support across all areas of a fast-paced and dynamic business and playing a key role in the legal team. The role includes but is not limited to administrate, review and draft legal agreements. As Skydance continues its growth, the Junior Associate Counsel will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters.
Responsibilities
• Arranges for the execution of agreements, amendments etc. Manages the electronic storage and circulation of contracts. Assists with contracts and related enquiries.
• Drafst, reviews and administrates all types of production-related contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and Independent Contractors agreements.
• Works closely with production teams, Human Resources, Finance and Technology on issues arising in production, communicate contractual risks and obligations.
• Ensures legal policies and contracts are applied across productions on a consistent basis.
• Prepares legal correspondence, including termination letters, extensions and amendments.
• Assists with the creation and drafting of documentation for existing and new policies and procedures including drafting and updating procedures, processes and policies.
• Responds to legal inquiries; raise and escalate legal issues as necessary.
• Tracks and prepares reports relating to the status of agreements and other activities.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
• Collaborates with other team members, when it's necessary.
• Follows Associate Counsel and Director of the Legal Department's guidance.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Law required, preferably with Master's degree for Admission to the Bar.
• 0-2 year of relevant work experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
• Spanish and English, high level.
