Allocator
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Three Ten, a merchandising company and part of the Sony Music Entertainment Group, is seeking an Allocator to support its retail growth. The Allocator will manage the inventory planning and allocation process to ensure timely delivery of goods to retail locations and distribution centers, maximizing sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the OSR team on pre-planning to build location planning forecasts.
• Adjust in-season sales trends to influence store allocations aligned with customer demand.
• Allocate merchandise based on location plans to optimize inventory placement.
• Support pre-season allocation strategies, including inventory parameters and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandise Planning, DC Operations, and Merchandising.
• Track forecast accuracy and create benchmarks to improve performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities through reporting and analytics.
• Drive process and system improvements to optimize inventory and profitability.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis within retail or the music space.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to identify trends and create actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
