This is a Full Time Job
As a Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs, you will report to the Executive Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance, Ethics and Privacy Officer.
The Coordinator's responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
What you'll do:
• Support and assist EVP and several lawyers in the Legal, Compliance and Privacy Departments
• Organize and monitor records for radio promotion compliance program
• Manage Sony Music's Continuing Legal Education program and coordinate department-wide legal seminars and events
• Process expense reports, department bills, and other payments
• Managing lawyers' daily schedules, arrange travel, and process timesheets
• Assist in drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and basic research
• Liaise with Facilities, IS&T and Purchasing departments for office needs
• Update litigation database and files
• Monitor several inboxes and direct relevant messages to internal departments
• Check sanction status of parties involved in business transactions
• Submit quarterly and bi-annual lobbying reports to federal government agencies
Who you are:
• Minimum of 2 years administrative experience or recent college graduate with demonstrated learning potential (i.e., strong academic performance, prior industry experience/interest)
• Proficiency in computer software applications (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Highly motivated and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate
• Punctual, available to work overtime
• Prepared to commit to a minimum of 2 years in the position
• Open to candidates interested in pursuing a J.D. in the future

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
