This is a Full Time Job
Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a highly organized and proactive Coordinator to support the Business & Legal Affairs department. This role involves assisting two senior leaders and ensuring the department’s daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
What you'll do:
• Provide administrative support to senior leaders and the BLA team
• Schedule meetings, secure conference rooms, and ensure technology functions properly
• Draft correspondence, prepare reports, and conduct contract research
• Create PowerPoint presentations and assist with annual budget preparations
• Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.
• Organize department meetings and industry events
• Liaise with internal departments, including Facilities and Purchasing
• Assist with onboarding new employees and handling HR-related tasks
• Conduct basic online research and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
• Manage outgoing mail (certified, FedEx)
• Handle ad-hoc projects and provide general departmental support as needed
Who you are:
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience or recent college graduate with strong academic performance or demonstrated interest in the industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, with the ability to learn Sony systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, organized, and timely
• Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong team mentality
