This is a Full Time Job
As the Coordinator, you will directly support the SVP of A&R Administration & Operations as well as the overall A&R Administration department for 7 different label groups. This position requires excellent communication skills as they will be working with many various departments and executives throughout Sony.
What you'll do:
• Administrative tasks: manage calendars, arrange meetings, maintain contact lists, process expenses, schedule travel, overseeing time sheets and vacation calendars.
• Coordinate meetings within the various label groups.
• Assist with documentation of best practices manual for the department.
• Oversee organization of various rosters, staff and other reports.
• Vendor set up and verification.
• Royalty Account set up and workflow analysis.
• Assistant with Royalty Client services.
• Working with supervisor on methods to organize, save and retrieve information.
• General Departmental troubleshooting.
Who you are:
• Bachelor's Degree. Preferably in Music Business Administration, Finance, Legal or Accounting.
• Minimum (2) year previous work experience including internships.
• Previous experience within the music or entertainment industry preferred.
• Experience working with confidential and sensitive content.
• Must be extremely proficient with systems: Microsoft 365 Suite (outlook, excel, work, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn proprietary systems.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
