The Senior Royalty Analyst will be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations within Royalty Operations and will be involved in all royalty aspects of all artists across labels, including contract interpretation, coding & setup in the royalty system, managing and delivery accurate and timely royalty statements, managing and prioritizing suspense items, responding to internal and external inquiries on the accounts and special projects.
What you'll do:
• ROYALTY STATEMENT ADMINISTRATION
• Preparing the appropriate accounting statements as contractually required.
• Reviewing sales and costs to ensure they are accurately stated.
• Validating and preparing recoupment analyses as required.
• Coordinating the statement review with the appropriate Label and/or Affiliate personnel.
• SALES & SUSPENSE MANAGEMENT
• Running sales query and reviewing results with Manager.
• Ensuring all sales transactions are properly processed on a timely basis.
• Monitoring sales files on a daily basis for activity related to assigned artists.
• Reviewing and prioritizing pending sales transactions for clearance by Label and/or Affiliate personnel.
• INQUIRIES & SPECIAL PROJECTS
• Serve as Point of Contact for various internal and external inquiries related to assigned accounts.
• Providing Manager with status reports regarding the assigned artist accounts.
• Special Projects support as needed.
Who you are:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of (4) years of related work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• SAP, EROS, and JIRA experience a plus.
• Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time productivity.
• Ability to analyze and review information from several different sources (corporate systems).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent leadership skills.

Salary/Benefits
$60,000.00 - 65,000.00 per year
The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
New York Pay Range
$60,000 - $65,000 USD
