Job description
People & Organization (Human Resources) at Sony Pictures Entertainment is undergoing significant technology and process transformation, optimizing our use of key HR (Human Resources) platforms including Workday, ServiceNow and Cornerstone and creating streamlined ecosystems that enhance digital experience for all workers in the organization. This position, reporting to the VP – People Transformation, will be a creative problem-solver who will help lead the P&O (People & Organization) organization to find innovative solutions to overcome our manual and inefficient process challenges and drive a world class customer experience for our employees and business partners. They will partner with P&O leaders and owners of our change management, project management, product management and technology capabilities to oversee the definition and continuous improvement of our end-to-end P&O processes. They will lead process optimization initiatives, and they will track and report on the financial and operational value generated through these improvements to senior management.
Key responsibilities include:
• Partner with SPE technology and product management teams as well as P&O subject matter experts to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience for P&O employees and customers
• Lead detailed process definition and documentation of end-to-end P&O processes and ensure business requirements from all user groups are represented in technology configurations
• Create an ongoing continuous improvement program within the P&O organization to drive ongoing sustainable improvements that generate efficiencies and enhance customer service
• Lead process improvement projects, from design through implementation, and report results to senior management
• Partner with product managers to identify automation opportunities to reduce manual P&O effort
• Create and oversee the capability for the P&O organization to estimate the operational and financial value to be generated from planned process improvement projects, and to measure and report the actual benefits delivered upon implementation
• Create and implement a standardized approach to cascade operational scorecard tracking through all levels of the P&O organization
• Create a repeatable approach and templates to document standard work across all P&O processes
• Participate in and contribute to overall P&O strategy development, including annual goal setting and the governance of the P&O project portfolio
• Partner with the HR, technology, finance, payroll, and other related teams to develop process controls and reporting for auditable events
• Take a leading role in driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the P&O organization by creating and delivering basic templates, tools, and training
Knowledge of:
• Process optimization methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma
• HR processes and best practices
• Basic project management principles and PMO practices, include familiarity with the Agile methodology
• Basic change management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Microsoft suite of tools (Office, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
• Familiarity with HR technology solutions, preferably Workday, ServiceNow and Cornerstone
Skills:
• Excellent process optimization skills, with a record of accomplishment in leading large-scale process transformation initiatives
• Innovative problem-solver, with demonstrated experience identifying and implementing creative solutions

Required Qualifications:
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, business, or industrial engineering
• 6+ years of demonstrated experience successfully leading large-scale process improvement efforts, including leading process improvement work streams in conjunction with large-scale system implementations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Media and entertainment or studio setting experience
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, and/or Cornerstone
• Management consulting experience
• Master's degree, preferably in HR, business, or industrial engineering
The anticipated base salary for this position is $142,000.00 to 190,200.00. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
