Based in our Singapore office our Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Distribution group has an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join them on a 6 month placement!
In this role you will assist the B2B and B2C marketing and administrative support for the SPT Distribution group, with a particular focus on helping grow SPT's TikTok presence within the Southeast Asia region. With hit TV series and feature films like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Bullet Train, Uncharted, The Good Doctor, The Crown, and Breaking Bad, this placement offers an opportunity to connect popular content with millions of fans for the ultimate entertainment experiences.
You will get the opportunity to develop business acumen and gain hands-on experience in managing a social media presence, marketing analysis, and preparing reports and decks for clients to drive business results. You will also gain professional work experience with a global, world-class organization and will be assigned ongoing, daily responsibilities, as well as independent projects, and will assist with various office and administrative tasks. You will also attend weekly department meetings and various project meetings throughout the tenure of the 6 month internship.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Where relevant, work with Multi-Channel Marketing team to:
• Grow SPT's TikTok footprint and help launch new TikTok channels in the Southeast Asia region.
• Understanding and tracking SPT KPIs and improving the social media strategy that supports the organization's success.
• Work closely with the social media agency to ensure that content and messaging align with a cohesive, polished brand and content voice and resonate with the target audience.
• Provide clear briefs and feedback loops to produce high-quality, compelling content that drives engagement and achieves campaign goals.
• Maintain a consistent review process to ensure content quality and alignment with set content plan.
• Actively manage comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement.
• Monitoring all social media content and tracking the performance of social media campaigns.
• Use analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and gain insights into audience behavior.
• Optimize campaigns in real-time based on performance data and trends.
• Stay updated on new social media tools, algorithms, and trends to keep social media strategies relevant and effective. Competitors monitoring and reporting including keeping up with technologies and trends used in social media for internal reporting.
• Create/edit videos and image assets for social media posts.
• Support the Sales team with tactical activity, pitch support, and develop sales decks, monthly eDM relevant to each market and localized where necessary. Ensuring the marketing support that the Sales team receive maximizes their chances of success in securing the business.
• Help coordinate and deliver consumer-facing (B2C) and business-to-consumers (B2B) marketing campaigns, as defined by the marketing strategy, to support ongoing promotional and launch activities for clients who have licensed Sony Pictures content.
With the support of the Multi-Channel Marketing team:
• Organize content lead Showcases/themed conferences and ongoing on-the-ground client hospitality opportunities for clients.
Be a brand ambassador for Sony Pictures Content
Other:
• Deliver marketing assets to clients via in-house asset management platforms such as Sony Pictures Connect and Runner
• Manage and distribute eDM campaigns on the CRM management tool, Salesforce
• Post-campaign report compilation
• Any other Ad-hoc administration assignments and projects
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Undergraduate in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications studies, or another similar field such as New Media (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Proficiency and experience with TikTok is a must.
• Passion for marketing and associated digital technology with a passion for entertainment and pop culture
• Entrepreneurial thinker and has a collaborative ''can do''' attitude with a desire for continuous improvement
• Excellent command of spoken and written English with strong writing and storytelling skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multi-task with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
• Fluency in Bahasa or Thai a plus
• Proficient in - Microsoft Office, especially with Excel, PowerPoint such as preparing a dynamic PowerPoint presentation.
• Proficient in - Adobe suite software - Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
• Please note that this role is based in Singapore. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the Singapore immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in Singapore for the duration of the employment.
• This is a 6 month, full time placement. Whilst start date can be flexible, candidates must be able to commit to the full 6 month period.
