Description:
Sony Pictures Entertainment is hiring a Local 174 Mail Clerk to support mailroom operations. The role involves the slotting, sorting, and distribution of mail, newspapers, magazines, and courier packages. Clerks will update mail slots, deliver faxes, handle outgoing mail, and maintain delivery logs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Slot, sort, and distribute newspapers, magazines, and incoming/outgoing mail
• Update mail slots regularly
• Forward mail for 30 days after tenant relocation
• Deliver packages and boxes to designated locations
• Operate inbound barcode systems and maintain manual logs for courier deliveries
• Pick up and process overnight and special shipments
• Lift and transport up to 75 pounds using a push cart or dolly
• Operate electrical carts (requires valid California Driver License)
• Support Logistics Services as needed
Qualifications:
• Mailroom experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
