Job Title: Real-Time Visualization Lead

Job Description:
The Real-Time Visualization Lead is responsible for designing character performances and filming them with virtual cameras to create cinematic sequences aligned with the filmmaker’s vision. This includes managing sequences from storyboards and directing a team of artists for shot creation, blocking, camera work, and motion capture. The role involves significant collaboration with directors, visualization creative directors, and previs supervisors.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and construct sequences based on storyboards or scripts
• Collaborate with filmmakers and the creative director to implement creative notes
• Oversee character blocking, camera positioning, and performance capture with a team
• Supervise motion capture quality control and enhance mocap animation
• Create realistic and compelling animations for characters, creatures, props, and vehicles
Essential Skills:
• 5+ years in Unreal Engine animation and camera work
• Ability to create shots with and without storyboards
• Strong understanding of film and cinematic techniques
• Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, UE exporting, and Adobe After Effects
• Familiarity with Autodesk Motion Builder and PFTrack is a plus

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary for this position is $150K to $190K. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
