This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Spring Internship is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Location Based Entertainment of Sony Pictures Entertainment is a team of experiential entertainment creators, comprised of Business Developers, Creative Directors, Producers, Designers, Production Managers and more, that works globally to identify experiential opportunities for some of the world's most memorable and successful film, television, music, and gaming intellectual properties and to oversee their strategic, business, and product development. Our projects include theme parks, live show, immersive experiences, and touring exhibitions and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting Business and Product Development teams across multiple projects both in development and production phases
• Performing Industry Research, Market Updates and Executive Presentations
• Determining industry trends, identifying opportunities, and creating presentations which may include research, creative summaries, treatments, and digital presentations
• Coordinating and attending meetings with Entertainment Creative and Production teams
• Helping define creative products and build business cases
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Eager self-starter to do research, and learn from one another to foster collaboration
• A self-starting attitude and willingness to try something new
• Strong leadership and partnering skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and confidential information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently pursuing a degree in English, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze entertainment trends and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to create professional presentations.
• Photoshop or graphic skills a plus
• An understanding of or interest in location-based entertainment (theme parks, attractions, immersive experiences).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering top-notch client and guest experiences.
• Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry, with a desire to learn about the business aspects of location-based entertainment.
