This is a Part Time Paid Internship

These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Spring Internship is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Marketing & Publicity – Sony Pictures Classics
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the marketing & publicity team by executing tasks related to each of the several upcoming Sony Pictures Classics' films
• Conduct film marketing and demographic research
• Organize physical and digital assets, analytics and promotional items related to each film's campaign.
• Analyze digital marketing trends and assist in the creation of media assets and copy writing for digital campaigning
• Perform other marketing or administrative tasks as needed by the marketing & publicity team
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (familiarity with Adobe suite is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain organizational skills while handling multiple projects at one time
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for film, and film marketing, with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
