This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Success in the Arts Inc. producer and director of the stage play Dreamgirls, A Raisin in the Sun, The Amen Corner, The Romance, Why Me?? DELIVERANCE, The SITA Award's Ceremony, and the short film Skeletons is seeking 2 sharp, highly motivated, skilled, creative and publicity driven interns for their Entertainment Business. The interns we are seeking should have strong oral and written skills, be a team player, work in cooperation with the production team, be reliable, organized and operate under deadlines. You must have at least 3-6 months or more marketing and public relations experience. This is an unpaid part time internship and it's 100% Remote. The internship is 3-4 hours a day. Candidate can choose their workday.
The ideal applicant:
* Must be enrolled in a College/ University & seeking credit or have graduated already
* Will have excellent project and time management skills
* Attend various industry events
* Will participate in media outreach
* Is committed
* Generate weekly status reports
* Follow up with celebrity contact for events
* Have good work ethics and live and breathe PR/Marketing
* Be ready to work on Performing Arts Activities in various genres
* Write press releases
* Is Proactive
* Can pitch Ideas
• Highly organized and proactive.
* Is an owner of a Laptop/Computer
* Multitasking Abilities
* Ready to commit to position for 3-6 months
* Familiar with Social Networking Tools Ex. Facebook, Instagram; Twitter, LinkedIn, etc...
* Have knowledge of Power Point, Microsoft
