Position: Automated Production Control System Operator
Location: Miramar, FL

The APC Operator is responsible for preparing and executing live and taped television and digital platform broadcasts using an automated production control system. The role includes building rundowns, operating control room automation, and performing technical directing duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build rundowns for all broadcasts, including commercials and PSAs
• Operate control room computer and automation, automating production functions such as technical directing, audio mixing, and graphics insertion
• Direct talent and other technicians during broadcasts
• Perform additional control room and studio-related tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' experience using Dalet or equivalent newsroom systems
• Minimum 3 years' experience with television production equipment
• Strong computer skills, with at least 3 years’ experience monitoring multiple screens and software applications in a broadcast environment

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work on-site in Miramar, FL
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Available for 24x7 shifts, including overtime and weekends
• Ability to work during extreme weather conditions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel knowledge

Desired Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in directing or technical directing
• Familiarity with Automated Production Control systems (Ross Overdrive & Xpression preferred)
• Associate or BA degree in Telecommunications or related field preferred
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, ability to lead and direct others, and work under tight deadlines
