he Logistics Manager is responsible for the planning, communication, and execution of Field Protection needed for REV Entertainment Events. This is accomplished by performing the essential duties personally and through supervisors and subordinates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Manages all aspects and logistics of field protection, including; field supervisors, scheduling, communication, transportation, and equipment needed.
• Provides field protection estimates for the special events inside Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium and other properties.
• Manages subordinate field personnel and hired labor.
• Trains and develops field protection supervisors.
• Oversees and handles all methods of transportation and storage of field protection in approved areas.
• Reviews financial reports relating to field protection expenses and payments.
• Executes event plans and layouts ensuring adherence to organization safety and brand policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with the Director of Event Operations to coordinate the planning, build and execution of major events for REV Entertainment events.
• Handles assigned tasks for production and concert load in and load out.
• Reviews post event notes and client surveys to ensure brand quality standards are achieved.
• Builds strong client relationships in order to meet their needs and encourage repeat business.
• As scheduled, works flexible/varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree or minimum 1 to 3 years event management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively supervise staff.
• Strong customer service oriented and positive attitude.
• Skilled in the understanding, implementation, and creation of SOPs for event planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Demonstrated organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, specifically the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, live production and communications staff, and vendors.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedules.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to interact with all levels of staff and clients.
