he Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and producing brand-related graphic projects for digital, print, and social content in a fast-paced collaborative environment to represent Texas Rangers Baseball Club as an premium and elite organization.
DESIGN PORTFOLIO: Applicant must provide/include a link to website portfolio or pdf of design work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Create and develop visual and creative concepts, print, CPG, digital, web, and social for the marketing team as well as other departments throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing team on developing and executing the brand look and feel, ensuring a consistent and cohesive look throughout all channels.
• Serve all graphic design needs such as brand identity, flyers, brochures, program articles, sales materials, community event materials, logos, presentations, and promotional packaging for various departments.
• Ensure all projects are completed by designated timelines and error-free in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo by presenting new ideas, designs and concepts for the creative team as well as other departments.
• Complete all other duties assigned.
• Represent the Club with integrity, positivity, accountability and professionalism at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4-year Bachelor's degree in preferably digital and/or graphic design, communications, and or related fields.
• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role. Experience in the sports industry or professional design department is preferred but not a limiting factor.
• Proficient knowledge and skills with Mac and the Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, After Effects. Proficiency in the MS office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of design elements, artistic ability, and creativity.
• Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments and corporate sponsors in a visual, verbal, and written manner to ensure all needs and expectations are met.
• Embody what it means to be a great teammate with the ability to collaborate and work well with others to strengthen the creative team culture, desire to challenge the status quo, and contribute effectively to the marketing team to achieve creative and organizational goals.
• Multicultural experience and/or bilingual (Spanish) is an added benefit, but not a limiting factor.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include working home and away games remotely as well as evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours as needed.
