About the Company: The Celebrity Source is a celebrity booking agency in business for over 35 years, that works to pair brands, non-profits and other organizations with celebrities and influencers for branding and promotional initiatives.
About the Position: We're looking for a long-term intern who is a self-starter and can help with ever-evolving marketing, social media, and research needs. This position will largely focus on handling digital marketing and conducting research for the purpose of generating leads.
Seeking a commitment of 12-15 hours/week (48-60 hours/month). This position will be part time and REMOTE, and hours are flexible.
Duration is preferred to be long-term (at least more than one semester).
Marketing responsibilities include the following:
· Create and post social media content to company accounts and design monthly newsletter in Constant Contact. All visual content should align with company branding and can be created using any standard graphic design platform (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc.).
· Stay on top of current social media trends and ideate ways to incorporate them into posts and monthly newsletters.
· Create case studies and other marketing materials related to booked campaigns.
Research and Lead Generation responsibilities include the following:
· Research press contacts and write pitches to the media for PR and business purposes.
· Review trade press releases and identify leads for outreach.
· Assist in researching celebrities and influencers to pair with clients for campaigns.
· Use trade industry and trade resources to identify celebrity and contacts for booked campaigns.
· Handle administrative tasks and research needs, as necessary.
Qualifications:
· In-depth knowledge and interest in everything pop culture: entertainment, celebrities and influencers, brands, social media trends, etc.
· Familiarity with social media and email marketing platforms (i.e. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Buffer, Constant Contact, etc.)
· Content Creation (Graphic Design experience preferable)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, etc.)
· Written communication skills (concise, professional, etc.)
· Previous internships or similar experience preferred
· Self-Starter
· Well-Organized
Internship Start Date/Season: May 2025
Internship Duration: 6 Months or longer
Time/Days Required: 12-15 hours/week
