Studio Supervisor

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Studio Supervisor to join our production team working within the studio in Virginia Beach.  This seasoned professional will provide constant communication between the Director and all appropriate personnel to ensure smooth continuity during production.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of television production and crew positioning.
• Strong overall knowledge of audio/video equipment common to television productions.
• Excellent ability to operate a studio camera.
• Strong verbal skills with ability to enunciate count downs for opens, segments, features and the close of a production.
• Excellent ability to establish a calming, in control demeanor, and be attentive to the needs and expectations of the talent and guests.
• Strong ability to work well under stress and deal with difficult situations calmly.
• Portray a high level of maturity, confidence and competence.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must possess a keen sense of timing and continuity.
• Excellent ability to display initiative, think quickly and take appropriate action.
• Strong ability to respond to directions in a minimum amount of time.
• Ability to work independently and be an effective member of a team.
• Punctual with ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry studio equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to take initiative outside regular duties to maintain a smooth flow of productions.
• Flexible and available to work all shifts, extended hours and meet unexpected work demands.
• Available to travel when required.
