Job Description:
The Hollywood Reporter is looking for a talented Videographer/Editor to join the video team in New York. This role involves shooting and editing video content for various platforms, including red carpets, interviews, cover shoots, set visits, and branded content. The candidate will work closely with producers and hosts, delivering high-quality videos for The Hollywood Reporter’s digital and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shoot and edit video content for red carpets, in-studio and field interviews, set visits, festivals, roundtables, and branded content.
• Deliver video content for digital and social platforms.
• Reformat video for various social media and partner platforms.
• Collaborate with producers and hosts in planning, shooting, and post-production.
• Produce and edit THR Podcasts as needed.
• Maintain video equipment and handle digital media management.
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience in videography and editing, both long and short-form.
• Proficiency in video editing using Premiere.
• Ability to operate camera and audio equipment for solo shoots or in teams.
• Experience in creating dynamic video graphics.
• Strong storytelling and video production skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work off-hours, late nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
Compensation:
$80,000 - $90,000 per year, based on skills, experience, and location.
