JOB TITLE: Production Intern
LOCATION: Carlsbad, CA with opportunities to attend shoots in Orange County/LA
TYPE: Part-time
HOURS: Flexible, to be discussed with each individual
COMPENSATION: $16/hour
The New Black is seeking a motivated Production Intern to support our in-house team and gain valuable exposure to the world of commercial media production. Our projects include partnering with leading brands and agencies to produce high-quality stills and motion shoots.
YOUR ROLE
As a Production Intern at The New Black, you'll play a key role in our production process by:
Supporting Pre-Production: Assist the in-house team with all aspects of preparing for photo and video shoots, ensuring everything is in place for a successful project.
Maintaining the Studio: Keep our studio space organized and clean, contributing to an efficient work environment.
Handling Errands: Manage various tasks such as making purchases, returns, crafty shopping, and equipment pickups as needed.
Organizing Inventory: Help keep track of production supplies and equipment.
Administrative Assistance: Support the Office PA with various administrative duties to keep operations running smoothly.
On-Set Support: Assist with setup and breakdown during productions, and help manage talent, crew, and catering/crafty to ensure everything runs according to plan.
Capturing BTS: Document approved behind-the-scenes moments on set.
Social Media (Optional): If interested, help prepare and schedule posts for TNB's social media channels.
