The Oriel Company (public relations firm) is seeking interns for Fall 2024.
Clients include Andre 3000, The Killers, Questlove, Phoebe Bridgers, Steve Lacy, Zoe Kravitz, Kelsea Ballerini and many more. Interns will work in the areas of PR and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Interns are responsible for assisting in day-to-day tasks in the areas of public relations and marketing, which will include: media research; creating professional press clips; updating press kits; assisting in developing written materials; generating weekly reports; maintaining databases and handling misc. administrative tasks. Additionally, there is a semester long internal project that includes creating a press plan and marketing strategy that will provide a tangible asset to take with you for future internships and/or job interviews.
Requirements:
Must be positive, hard-working, detail oriented, organized, and dependable. The ability to handle and complete tasks in a timely manner is essential.
Skills Preferred - Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Constant Contact, FileMaker, Excel, Mac, Microsoft Word, Google Suite.
Interns should be available 2-3 full days a week. Program will run September 3rd - December 13.
This is for college credit and pays a $100 weekly stipend. Can be remote or hybrid in our New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville offices.
