Summer Intern - TV Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The Tannenbaum Company is seeking a development intern for Summer 2025. This intern will be working with our Executives and Development Coordinator to gain hands on experience with the TV development process. They will listen in on pitches and notes calls; provide script coverage; help create pitch decks; learn how to manage phones, call sheets, and calendars for our executives; and gain valuable insight on how TV shows are made, from the concept of an idea to post-production. We are looking for a candidate who is highly driven and passionate about working in TV and Film development.

Responsibilities:
• Aid in the scheduling of pitches, notes calls, and writer/director meetings
• Updating and managing development grids
• Manage call logs and schedules for executives
• Help create pitch decks
• Read scripts and provide coverage for incoming submissions
• Assist in pre-production planning
• Attend and transcribe notes calls
• Help with additional projects as needed

Skills:
• Demonstrated interest in TV & Film development required
• Must be detail-oriented and understand no task is too small
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft and Google Suites
• Candidate should have the following qualities: Drive, Independence, Excellent Time Management, Collaboration & Passion for the TV & Film Industry
• Previous industry experience preferred but not necessary

Program Dates: Monday, May 19th - Friday, July 25th, 2025 (10 Weeks)
The Tannenbaum Company Internship Program is designed to identify and recruit a student with interest in TV & Film development that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities.

Important Dates:
The Tannenbaum Company Summer 2025 Internship dates are: May 19th-July 25th, 2025.
All applicants are required to be current students enrolled at an accredited university.

Details:
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week (can be flexible to meet specific requirements for college credit)
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• The position will require working at our office in Santa Monica, however exact schedule can be flexible within the 10 week program.
