Corporate Financial Planning Analyst (Corporate Consolidations)

Would you like to impact financial planning all the way up to the leadership and Board of Directors level? Are you passionate about bridging the gap between data and storytelling?

As a Financial Analyst in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you'd use data to empower premier financial leaders, so they make the best possible decisions. We want you to focus your strong communication skills to interpret data and design reports, so the numbers come alive.

You would join a dynamic team whose job is to work directly with department leaders, both at Corporate and across the Disney businesses, by providing insight across the Company.

What You Will Do:

Every single day as a Financial Analyst is different! On any one day you might:
• Prepare and analyze quarterly, annual, and 5-year operating plans
• Prepare dynamic messages for different audiences including corporate management and other high-level executives
• Support consolidation of corporate expenses in a concise manner and present to senior leaders
• Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of leadership
• Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Showcase your leadership and confidence on a large team
• Enjoy movie screenings and team building activities

Required Qualificationsand Skills:

To qualify for this role candidates should have:
• Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Developed effective business and financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written settings
• The flexibility to work with different personalities
• Produce detailed work without data errors
• Sharp presentation and storytelling skills
• Able to exercise critical thinking and problem solving skills
• An inherent curiosity to ask the right questions
• Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint

Education

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

The hiring range for this position in California is $84,600 to $103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
