The Director, HR Business Partner is responsible for guiding the development of HR strategies that will attract, develop and retain the breadth of talent required to drive client business success while optimizing the overall employee experience. In this role, the Director is also responsible for leading a team of strategic business partners focused on developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR services inclusive of Strategy Development, Organization Design, Talent Management, Organization and Cast Effectiveness, Change & Transition Management and Functional Integration.
Responsibilities:
This position requires an individual that can assess business situations as well as identify and implement the appropriate business, organization and / or people strategy solutions. Anticipating trends, making pro-active recommendations and advocating workforce diversity and workplace inclusion are critical components to the role. The Director works closely with HR functional partners to envision, drive, integrate and implement HR strategies that enable a diverse business to address complex and evolving workforce needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• Broad business and financial understanding and the ability to apply to human capital implications
• Proven experience engaging and directing partner HR functions within a matrixed environment
• Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions that are forward thinking and growth oriented
• Develop processes and tools for strategy development, alignment, communication, measurement and sustainment across diverse employee populations and locations
• Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous priorities across diverse businesses
• Resilience to work within a complex, matrixed organization and find creative solutions
• Strong executive consulting and client relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, promote a culture of inclusion and support development of workforce diversity strategies
• Proven collaboration skills with the ability to gain consensus through personal influence while driving solutions and complex initiatives across global business landscape
• Proven ability to consult with and guide business leaders and teams through organizational change / transition strategies that enable business growth, transition and continued evolution while challenging the status quo
Preferred Qualifications:
• PHR or SPHR certification
• HR leadership experience in industries of games, consumer products and/or publishing
• Experience leading HR Teams in support of multi-location businesses and hourly employee populations
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
