This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Managers and Director of Enterprise Compliance and Controls with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404 compliance program, including performing testing of key controls across multiple segments and Corporate functions. Work in a team-oriented, project driven environment with business unit leaders to improve the internal control environment.

Responsibilities:
• SOX 404 testing of entity and business-unit level controls across multiple segments and Corporate functions
• Perform testing through walkthroughs/inquiry, observation and re-performance and documenting results in working papers
• Partnering with business units on SOX 404 related efforts, such as documentation (e.g. walkthroughs, narratives and flowcharts) of in-scope processes, identification of key controls, and control/process improvements
• Ability to identify and assess control deficiencies and develop appropriate remediation plans
• Assisting with maintenance of the SOX 404 software including updating control descriptions and ownership, running quarterly and annual reports, and monitoring business units' quarterly certification
• Supporting the team on special projects
• Supervise the Financial Analysts as needed
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years work experience in auditing and/or accounting
• A strong understanding of internal controls and control environments
• Ability to assess and prioritize financial statement risk and internal controls across multiple segments and business units
• Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Possess strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Ability to work in a highly organized and efficient manner, and a driver that can take projects to completion in a timely manner
• Must be an excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to travel for business as needed
Desired Qualifications
• Previous experience in accounting or auditing with a large multi-national company or Big 4 accounting firm
• CPA or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $103,400 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
