Disney's Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services team develops and holistically manages complex, long-term, multi-dimensional relationships with select brands and companies. This team is dedicated to creating incremental value to The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) and its partners through creative development of marketing and sponsorship programs, management of partner relationships across all business units at TWDC and the creation of new partnerships aligned with the Company's businesses and strategic goals. The Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services organization leverages company and partner assets to create value globally for TWDC.
The Senior Manager, Corporate Alliances Strategy helps lead strategy, financial analysis, and recommendation development for the Corporate Alliances organization. This team provides a unique opportunity to learn about business units across Disney, while making a significant and lasting impact!
Overarching Responsibilities
• Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key learnings and recommendations to senior-level executives globally
• Actively contribute to discussions with senior executive leadership and all levels of the Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services team
• Support teams throughout all stages of the deal lifecycle by developing frameworks, conducting due diligence, and modeling potential deal structures
• Work closely with other TWDC segments and stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Research, Industrial Engineering, Walt Disney Imagineering)
• Foster a collaborate team environment by managing junior resources to enhance their skills
Strategy Development Responsibilities
• Identify, structure, lead and complete strategic and operationally focused projects, interfacing across the team and cross-functionally to ensure stakeholder buy-in and alignment throughout the process
• Serve as a thought partner to Strategy Director and Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services executives
• Explore innovative approaches and frameworks to address team and partner needs, always challenging the status quo and elevating the greater Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services team in the process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze market, Company, and audience data to assess the feasibility and impact of potential deals
• Structure, lead, and distill market research projects to enable ROI measurement, with the support of Disney and/or third-party research teams
• Synthesize financial and consumer insight data to help inform Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services strategic direction and priorities
Financial Analysis Responsibilities
• Proactively surface & mine key data sources to help support strategic and operational objectives
• Structure, lead, and distill financial analyses, collaborating closely with Disney Finance teams
• Demonstrate familiarity with financial accounting practices as it relates to various marketing initiatives (e.g., sponsorship, event planning, and media spend)
• Synthesize financial data along with internal and external consumer insights to understand drivers of financial performance and to inform broader team strategy and modify forecasting expectations as needed
Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years professional experience with demonstrated career progression into leadership
• 3+ years professional experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, brand management and/or product management
• Advanced analytical skills (forecasting, opportunity/market sizing, trend analysis, etc.)
• Development of financial models, forecasts and operating plans
• Experience independently managing complex, cross-functional projects
• Ability to craft executive-ready presentations as well as professional ability to interface with executive leadership
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to drive to an answer (e.g., for leadership questions/requests, determine areas for analysis and data required, realize areas for further review, adapt recommendation and analysis while working toward finding the answer)
• Advanced interpersonal skills to gather data, gain consensus and build relationships internally and externally
• Proven experience successfully leading teams of varying levels in data discovery, analysis and strategy development
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with VBA
• Experience with Tableau databases; proficiency in SQL
• Experience with partnership marketing, sponsorship contracting, and cobrand marketing agreements
• Experience managing cross functional teams
• Familiarity with survey writing / analysis
• Passion for Disney business units
Education:
• Bachelor's degree (finance, economics, mathematics, or marketing analytics field of concentration)

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $151,000 to $184,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
