This is a Full Time Job
This role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of Global HR Operations in Florida, NY, and CA. It has leadership accountability for a team of salaried exempt, salaried non-exempt and/or office and technical agents who are supporting the HR operation needs of employees across the enterprise. This role will focus on the ongoing client needs and will interface with clients for assessment of new work, services, processes and escalated issues. It will closely interact with the Project Leadership team and develop operational strategies that support the ongoing evolution of the Global HR Operations Organization. It will identify opportunities and build operational strategies for continuous improvement and efficiencies for increased productivity and exceptional customer service. Utilizing a variety of sources, data and metrics identify strategies for efficiencies and increased productivity.
Responsibilities:
On Site Leadership
• Lead work and daily activities for the Global HR Operations Transaction processing staff in Florida and New England, including Transaction processing staff, to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are resolved with enterprise clients
• Provide direct, escalation support to senior level enterprise clients on time sensitive or highly confidential Global HR Operations work; provide onsite expertise and escalation support to regional stakeholders as needed
• Effectively communicate operational direction, goals. Inspire team members to perform effectively and exceed expectations of the client base
• Establish and analyze operational metrics to drive results and team member performance
Strategy Development and Execution
• Identify opportunities to improve the business and employee experience by analyzing operational metrics and client needs. Identify and plan tactics to drive results. Consider client needs, employee experience, costs/ROI, emerging technology, and established SLAs
• Engage with enterprise clients and lead the Global HR Operations management team to implement operational strategies
• Proactively identify and understand client, segment and market business models, priorities and cultural nuances as an input to operational strategy development and execution
• Act as thought partner with senior leadership to integrate new work, processes, businesses, markets and projects across the enterprise
• Lead process alignment work for legacy Twenty First Century Fox transactional work, working with our Business Integration and segment and functional HR partners
• Leverage technology to improve the employee experience, increase productivity and build a Global HR Ops community
Global HR Operations Community Building
• Build a community among all Global HR Operations employees
• Lead Global HR Operations team members through change associated with new technology, new processes, new team members and a growing, global clientele
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum seven years of leadership experience or HR functional expertise
• Previous work experience in an Operations environment
• Ability to develop and implement operational and organizational strategies
• Innovative and strategic thinker that can identify and lead teams through a change in status quo
• Ability to leverage listening posts to drive continuous improvement efforts. Embrace and drive a data-driven approach to scoping/solving business issues
• Proven business acumen and solid analytical, communication, financial, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple business units
• Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
• Proven experience in developing a service delivery strategy to meet consumer and/or employee needs and applying robust measurement and reporting infrastructure
• Commitment to developing talent
• Proven negotiation skills with the ability to gain agreement while maintaining positive relationships
• Proven effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop both written and verbal executive summaries
• Flexible and adaptable leader comfortable in changing work environments
• Ability to manage teams and employees onsite and virtually from multiple work locations
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Disney or Twenty First Century Fox experience
• Experience working with artificial intelligence or machine learning
• Previous work experience in an HR Operations environment
• Conversational Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Experience working with SAP
• Experience working with Workday
• Experience working with Kronos
• Experience with implementing new and emerging technology solutions
• SHRM certification
Required Education
Associate's Degree in Business or Human Resources or related field
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree and Masters degree in Business or Human Resources or related field
