Production & Post-Production Coordinator – Burbank, CA
Responsibilities:
General Administrative Support:
• Answer and screen phones, schedule appointments, and manage contacts.
• Coordinate executive travel and expense reports.
• Schedule and facilitate conference calls with production and studio personnel.
Support for Head of Physical Production, Post-Production & VFX:
• Coordinate production workflows from pre-production through physical production wrap.
• Manage incoming materials, including contracts, databases, research, and archiving.
Support for VP, Post-Production:
• Collaborate with departments to create dailies workflow documents.
• Develop editor candidate lists for shows in pre-production.
• Act as the primary liaison for Editorial and Post on assigned projects.
• Set up application accounts for Editorial teams and manage access.
• Locate, engage, and set up Editorial offices for each project.
• Solicit and negotiate Avid rental bids.
• Coordinate shipments for editorial teams in remote locations.
• Assist in creating post-production schedules and calendars.
• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Organize and set up executive and preview screenings.
• Oversee feature delivery, including QC and master approvals.
• Work with studio distribution teams to ensure a smooth release process.
Requirements:
• Experience: Solid familiarity with film production and post-production workflows.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), budgeting and scheduling software (MMB and MMS), and Mac systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, discretion, ability to work under pressure, and service-oriented approach.
