DIGITAL MARKETING ASSOCIATE
Location: Austin, TX
Division: Ticketmaster NA – Festivals & GA (Front Gate Tickets)
Line Manager: Associate Director, Marketing
Contract Terms: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week
THE TEAM
Front Gate Tickets is North America's leading software and operations provider for the festival market. We provide technical solutions for e-commerce ticketing, access control, data management, and fan engagement. We partner and run on-site operations for over 200 festivals each year and are on a massive growth trajectory matched by no one in the industry. We do it for the fans! Front Gate is owned by Live Nation Entertainment and acts as Ticketmaster's festival arm.
The Front Gate Tickets Marketing Department offers an extensive suite of services to our roster of over 150 Festival clients. In our day-to-day, we leverage Front Gate's first-party data and our own marketing savvy to manage complimentary and premium digital campaigns, along with editorial and promotional support on behalf of and for our clients.
THE JOB
As a Digital Marketing Associate, this role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and implementation of Front Gate Tickets (FGT) digital marketing initiatives in support of a roster of clients. You'll be the subject matter expert on FGT marketing offerings, initiatives, and technology platforms.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Serve as the primary FGT marketing point of contact for a moderate list of clients during their entire festival sales lifecycle, utilizing our suite of offerings to drive ticket conversions.
• Manage segmentation of our first-party database using CRM tools to build targeted lists based on analysis of relevant festival and fan attributes.
• Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns for client portfolio, track performance and apply optimizations.
• Maintain marketing assets on FrontGateTickets.com using content management tools.
• Produce digital media plans, optimizations and post campaign recaps.
• Manage relationships with ad partners to fulfil paid media campaigns across social, search, and display channels.
• Work closely with Ticketmaster to execute marketing initiatives.
• Assist with pixel placements and collaborate with ad tracking teams.
• Serve as a primary resource for addressing Google Analytics insight and tracking.
• Create and support festival promotional campaigns to increase engagement and ensure legal compliance.
• Track ad campaign budgets and ensure accuracy for event settlements.
• Collaborate with client's external agencies and partners.
• General support of senior members on the marketing team with team projects when assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• 2+ years in digital marketing, with expertise in email marketing, paid ad management, and media planning/buying.
• Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
• Proficient with Figma, Photoshop, and MS Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow complex processes.
• Positive attitude a must!
• Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management.
• Passionate about emerging technology and advertising solutions.
• Ability to multi-task client requests and team projects.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and organizations.
• Occasionally work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of HTML preferred.
