Position Title:
Manager, Post Production – TMZ
Job Summary:
TMZ is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager, Post Production with expertise in video and audio delivery processes. This individual will manage deadlines, track progress across multiple departments, and ensure post-production schedules are aligned with the graphics, broadcast, IT, Web Edit, Clearance, and Promo teams.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate post schedules and collaborate with multiple departments to meet deadlines
• Identify areas for improvement in post-production processes and work with IT to implement changes
• Develop junior talent and focus on diversity and inclusion efforts
• Handle media management, multi-clip media, and ingest media from the drive/card to the server
• Export and upload current edits for distribution
• Work with Adobe Premiere Pro and develop workflows for new projects
• Anticipate and resolve production and post-production challenges, such as scheduling changes or delivery issues
• Stay up-to-date on industry technology related to editing, sound formats, and video equipment
• Manage project archives and media asset management
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in post-production operations
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere is required
• Experience managing network deliverables, editorial, color correction, sound editing, graphics, and more
• Strong understanding of media asset management software and video formats
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
