We are currently hiring for the position of:
Facility Assistant
The facility assistant supports the Facilities department with daily tasks and is an important piece that allows the operation to run smoothly. The facility assistant will report into the Sr. Coordinator, Facilities and Sr. Manager, Facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the day to day operation in facilities.
• Working close with the event production team for scheduled events in TIFF Lightbox throughout the calendar year
• Perform building set ups, tables, chairs, event rental guidance
• Keep track of office supplies inventory
• Ensure the building stays organized, tidy and event items are removed and stored away accordingly
• Update the organizations floor plan
• Assist with workstation builds
• Build our seasonal staff workstations for Festival
• Daily tasks completed upon request from management.
• Support the Shipping & Receiving
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma
• Solid communicational skills
• Experience working in an event based environment
• Strategic thinking under pressure
• Comfortable in a high traffic environment
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
