We are currently hiring for the position of:
Corporate Entertainment Manager, Partnerships
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to the success of the Corporate Entertainment portfolio, focusing on high-value corporate partner experiences for new and existing partners, supporting the organization’s financial sustainability through maximized revenue from corporate partners.
• Ensure all terms of partnership agreements are fulfilled and that the highest level of account service is delivered.
• Reach specific renewal and upsell targets each year as set out in annual Performance Agreement (and provide renewal support as needed to Sr. Manager of Corporate Entertainment)
• Be an internal advocate for your partners, working collaboratively with all relevant TIFF team members to ensure the execution of all corporate partner experiences are the highest standard and meet all deliverables against agreements.
• Take on a prescribed set of team tasks which may include acting as Partnerships team representative / liaison to one other TIFF department with the goal of creating, enhancing and executing cross-departmental revenue streams.
• Build positive relationships with corporate partners, focused on periodic, enhanced stewardship and annual objectives-setting.
• Participate in brainstorms with the Sr. Manager of Corporate Entertainment to identify and develop sustainable revenue generating opportunities for the corporate entertainment portfolio.
• Work closely with the Partnerships Sales team to ensure a smooth transition in the handover of new partners, ensuring consistency of service for partners.
• Support the Sr. Manager of Corporate Entertainment on internal processes related to the corporate entertainment assets, including but not limited to ticketing processes, asset trackers maintenance and team support related to corporate entertainment.
• Festival duties, including but not limited to, on site partner hosting, on site venue roles, liaising with internal and external teams to ensure the experiences of all hosting assets are functioning well and troubleshooting as necessary, etc.
Exceptional Communication / Negotiation
• Ability to participate in and lead high-stake negotiations with internal and external stakeholders and partners (sales, renewal negotiations, stewardship, etc.)
• Ability to lead calls with partners individually, with senior manager support as-needed.
• Ability to lead and craft a high volume of compelling presentations (internal and external), including but not limited to, proposals, post festival reports, etc.
• Ability to act as a vocal, Partnerships team representative at internal and external meetings with multiple stakeholders to drive results, e.g. Collaboration with Advancement, Visitor Experience and Event Production.
• Ability to work diplomatically with multiple stakeholders and be persuasive with both internal and external parties.
• Ability to navigate effectively through uncertainty without complete information, managing risk/reward appropriately.
Customer focus (may be internal or external)
• Ability to trouble-shoot when approached onsite with concerns by partners, members or general public.
• Listen to partner feedback as-delivered, particularly during discovery stage and post-mortem conversations, and work to provide thoughtful opportunities that meet their objectives, rectify problems and/or improve their experience.
• Work closely with partners/prospects to develop sustainable and realistic objectives during negotiation of partnerships.
• Understand and keep abreast of partner industry news and trends.

• Strong ability to prioritize competing priorities (both internal and external).
• Ability to find solutions for difficult or complex partner issues and/or goals, through internal collaboration.

• Exceptional business writing skills with attention to detail, including but not limited to proposals and contracts.
• Dynamic presentation skills including creating visual presentations and presenting to small to large groups of decision makers.

• Research the current market, maintain and put into practice, a strong understanding of Accounts business practices.

• Manage and prioritize many priorities, deadlines and deliverables for a specified portfolio of corporate partner accounts.

JOB GRADE & SALARY:
• Job Grade 3
• Job Grade Salary Annually pay: $75,000
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• input the start date OR contract start & end dates March 3, 2025
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (November to May)
• Minimum 3 days (June to October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival

• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
• This position requires being in office on a regular basis.

Salary/Benefits
$75,000.00 - 75,000.00 per year
