ABOUT THE JOB

We seek a world-class Freelance Art Director with 360 campaign experience to support our expanding video game marketing team. You’ll craft stunning visuals and big ideas for 360 and integrated campaigns, new business pitches, and more. You love the challenge of selling your ideas and work. You love gaming, the internet, and making cool stuff no matter what form it takes. Your concepts feel fresh and of the culture, strategic, and brief. You’re big on collaboration and love creating fun, witty, innovative visuals for different channels and styles.

IMPORTANT CALL-OUTS ABOUT THE JOB
• Candidates must be located on the West Coast of the US
• Freelance talent at Mutiny is paid via W2 payroll. Although this is a freelance role, we may be open to converting to staff (pending client needs, staffing plans, etc.).
• Our art directors love creating enticing and innovative marketing & advertising content, including experience in 360 or integrated campaigns of all flavors
• A love for video games is important - video game campaign experience is highly preferred.
• A portfolio showcasing your art direction work samples is required upon application for this role

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Create visuals and images for campaign-level 360 branding and integrated campaigns (gameplay trailers, live-action videos, influencer marketing & experiential activations, social/digital, and more)
• Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and project managers to build out and plan the campaign
• Work fluidly across channels and platforms
• Assist teams with storyboarding/shot lists/creative direction
• Implement feedback received from internal and client teams
• Proactively track, prioritize, organize, plan, and implement tasks
• Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with staff, vendors, and clients
• Performs other duties, as assigned

ABOUT YOU
• Experience as an Art Director for a 360-degree / integrated marketing agency - 3-5 years of art direction experience required
• Award-winning or award-worthy portfolio that shows craft and attention to detail
• Proven experience developing campaign-level ideation
• This is a role that requires a flexible, adaptable, and calm creative individual
• Able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines; organized, detail-oriented, and friendly
• Must be even-tempered and able to interact and adapt well under pressure, with multiple teams on multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Must be able to prioritize multiple projects successfully
• Must be able to apply knowledge, experience, and learnings to real situations to help solve problems

COMPENSATION:

Please note that the below range is payable via day rate (not hourly). Also note that all freelance work is paid via W2 payroll at Trailer Park Group.

Daily rate pay range for this position is below.

$400 - $450 USD
