Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG) is one of gaming's most prominent and growing entertainment marketing agencies, specializing in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.
We're currently seeking a Production Coordinator to work on-site in our Woodland Hills, California office. In this role, you will work as a quality control participant in one of the world's largest gameplay trailer production companies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Quality control for some of the world's most popular video games – You will harness your inner geek to make sure that our trailers and videos represent the games they’re made for accurately, ensuring our player's experiences are authentic and on point.
• Work with our Creative Directors, Producers, Editors, Capture Directors, Graphic Artists and Finishing Managers to ensure our final product is perfect in market.
• Partner with the above-mentioned team members to manage the day-to-day schedules, maintaining project deadlines and deliverables.
• Update project schedules and project management software when changes occur.
• Follows standard practices and procedures when assisting producers.
• Learn and understand the complexity of our capture processes and help to ensure they are running smoothly.
• Communicate regularly with our team on the status of all jobs in progress in creative / production, based on input from project teams.
• Track creative notes and changes.
• Receive and propagate client provided assets.
• Works closely with finishing team to ensure smooth transition from creative to final product for each project.
• Takes notes during client calls and distributes them to the team in a timely manner following the call and follows up with action items.
• Helps to coordinate capture scheduling with the capture production staff.
• Coordinates requests from other internal teams.
ABOUT YOU:
• MUST be available to work long hours, especially under tight deadlines.
• 1 years related gaming experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experienced with Jira and Airtable a plus!
• A motivated, self-starter with previous post-production and/or video game (marketing) experience a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to articulate clear feedback (written and verbal) and ask the right questions for context in said feedback.
• Open, honest, and proactive in your communications approach (written and verbal) with the confidence and critical thought to ask difficult questions appropriately.
• Strong listening skills and willingness to change course seamlessly & easily.
