Trailer Park's UK AV division in London seeks an exceptional Senior Motion Graphics Art Director or Designer. This position will primarily support our Los Angeles and London shared service motion graphics team (working regular U.K. office hours). This team supports the motion graphic needs of Trailer Park's U.S. Film and Streaming, TV, and Video Game marketing divisions. Primary support will be for overnight deadlines and creative projects due the following morning in Los Angeles. Secondary support will include the UK team's AV projects, covering scheduled time off, and supporting other Trailer Park companies in the UK as needed. Supervision, training, and team support will be provided by the U.K. office, with priority assignments coming from the U.S. team.
Please note two important pieces of this position:
- Only candidates providing portfolios or reels of their work will be considered
- This hybrid role requires in-office work at our London office approximately 3x per week
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Conceptualized, design, and animate original motion graphics work for various high-profile projects.
• Ability to finish and resize final deliverables to the highest final standards.
• Willingness to collaborate on projects provided by the Los Angeles office. This will include revising existing design looks, creating animated graphics based on existing looks, and finishing deliverables for existing projects.
• Follow written work orders with minimal direction and problem-solve daily.
• Strong knowledge and mastery of typography, ability to identify common fonts, and good taste in knowing which ones to use.
• Maintain workflow efficiency; identifying areas in need of improvement and propose solutions
• Interpreting and understanding notes and feedback with minimal supervision.
• Maintaining a production delivery schedule and communicating any issues or changes to approved deliverables to the producers.
Qualifications
• Impressive reel of work is a must - please include your portfolio link with your application
• 5-10 years of industry experience with direct experience in Film Trailer motion graphic creation
• Experience with motion picture, television, gaming, and streaming clients.
• Strong sense of design and animation in a variety of stylistic executions.
• University degree in a related field (Design, Animation, Fine Arts and/or Film Education) helpful
• Advanced knowledge of
• broadcast and film standards and equipment, HD and post-production
• film and video finishing and processes
• broadcast standard frame rates, aspect ratios, etc
• Advanced skills in After Effects and Cinema 4D or Maya, as well as the support software of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Clear verbal and written communicator. Receives and gives directions well.
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and personnel from the U.S. offices
• Conceptual thinker.
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities.

• Detail-oriented, ability to QC own work.
