Intern - Marketing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

A TuneCore internship will provide a profound educational experience in the areas online marketing and music distribution; finance and royalty account; and the development of technical tools to support an ever-growing and rapidly changing music industry.

TuneCore is seeking a qualified candidate, who is highly motivated to work with a team to market TuneCore in the music industry through the promotion of TuneCore artists.

Responsibilities:
• Compile TuneCore Album sales and New Release details.
• Format TuneCore reports.
• Research artist details for multiple projects including marketing opportunities, features submissions, and success stories.
• Provide research support for proposal development.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
• Familiarity with online stores.
• Advance knowledge of MAC OSX & Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal.
• The ability to conduct online research.
• Understand the importance of attention to details.
• An understanding of the online music industry.
• The ability to understand online music distribution.
• Understand and is comfortable working with social media.
• An understanding and appreciation of many music genres.
• The ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
