At Turner Classic Movies, we share and celebrate the entire spectrum of cinema with movie lovers like us-selecting and presenting the best films of all genres and eras, airing them uncut and commercial free in their original format, and delivering host introductions and other special presentations that help viewers to understand why these movies are so important. With exciting and varied programming, destination events like the TCM Classic Film Festival, fan clubs and wine clubs, and a wide range of content-rich digital platforms and apps, TCM is the perfect place for all film fans to gather and share the magic of movies.
The Team
The Digital intern will be responsible for an assortment of tasks related to TCM's Digital products. This includes supporting Product and Content Operations for TCM.com, Watch TCM, and various marketing related microsites.
The Job
The Digital intern will be responsible for an assortment of tasks related to TCM's Digital products. This includes supporting Product and Content Operations for TCM.com and Watch TCM. The intern's primary role will be to perform image research, image resizing, and content management tasks that are related to classic movies. Tasks may also include monitoring our website's help desk to review user feedback, film research and metadata selection, quality control and testing for various products, and general support for the Digital team.
The Essentials
• Detail oriented, exceptionally organized with excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of digital products (i.e. websites, mobile apps) and web development processes.
• Some experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Must be able to take direction, resize images, organize folders and create consistent file naming conventions.
• Must maintain a positive attitude under stress in a fast paced, highly demanding environment.
• Film knowledge is a plus.

Fall 2019 program dates are September 16 th through December 6 th . Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation . Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students. -
