KLUTCH Sports seeks an Analyst to join the Sports and Brand Insights Team. The Brand Insights Team consults for properties and brands across sports and entertainment. The consulting engagements help properties sell sponsorship inventory while aiding brands in strategically deciding the best place to spend their marketing dollars. The Sports and Brand Analyst will become a subject matter expert in sports sponsorship while expanding the group's capabilities into the broader entertainment landscape. Comfort with data and ambiguity is crucial as you will encounter open-ended problems without defined solutions and will be tasked with efficiently and creatively providing direction to clients. Innovation is at the center of this role. The ideal candidate is a quick learner that can get up to speed on existing projects and processes and can quickly apply their knowledge creativity to introduce new solutions to the marketplace.
The salary range for this role is $66,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Manage valuation and insights projects that solve direct client pain points in the sports & entertainment partnerships space
• Pull and combine vendor data from 15+ unique sources to solve client issues
• Organize and analyze large amounts of data to create concise takeaways and direct insights
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to effectively communicate questions, expectations, and deadlines
• Integration of machine learning, automation and advanced mathematics to create solutions that better serve our clients
What You Will Need
• 1+ years of experience in analytical roles, with a focus on data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics
• Analytical background with expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of data science and machine learning concepts with an interest in technical skill development and implementation
• The ability to quickly learn and willingness to ask questions to develop a strong understanding of the sports & entertainment partnerships space
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability - an ideal candidate can combine available data with subject matter expertise to creatively service clients
• Effective communication skills to help convey complex analytical solutions into actionable selling or buying insights
• Reliable time management techniques that effectively manage project timelines within the Sports & Brand Insights team
• Entrepreneurial mindset that builds on established methodologies to create new products that better serve internal stakeholders and external clients
