This is a Full Time Job
The Film & TV Coordinator at Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG) will serve as an integral member of the Film & TV Music team. The ideal candidate will possess strong balance of coordination, organizational, problem solving, and creative skills.
How you'll CREATE:
• Respond to sync requests from advertising, film, and television clients
• Troubleshoot/problem solve issues relating to licensing deals
• Develop client relationships through internal and external meeting, phone and online communication
• Proactively seek artist and executive approval for sync requests
• Research rights to artist and/or recordings
• Enter artist and/or recording into FTVL, as applicable
• Determine fees to be approved by artist and label, as applicable
• Follow up on pending approvals with labels/artist signatories in order to facilitate completion of sync deals
• Communicate effectively with clients and answer client queries regarding repertoire and rights, etc.
• Prepare regular income received and confirmed use label reports
• Creatively suggest song ideas to clientele
• Assist three executives on the Sync Ad Team

• Passionate and knowledgeable about music – genres, eras etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Windows and/or Mac
• Excellent organizational, detail-orientation and coordination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated self-starter, accountable, with strong follow through skills
• Creative spirit with the proven ability to initiate new ideas and convert them into action
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with executives and clients
• Works well under pressure in fast paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
• Prior film & TV Licensing and/or entertainment experience not necessary but preferred
• College degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Music preferred

Salary Range:
$33,700-$51,590
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
