How we LEAD:
Universal Production Music (UPM) is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator (DMC), based in Santa Monica, CA, to support the UPM marketing team in driving key digital initiatives across various brand channels.
The DMC will partner and support the product, sales, and leadership teams; and will be responsible for publishing content on all company social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Additionally, the DMC will work closely with a Creative Manager and share content creation responsibilities as needed. The DMC will be responsible for building brand awareness and growing UPM'S audience in an effort to boost sales and lead generation. The ideal candidate is creative, self-directed, and adept at managing multiple priorities and projects. They should understand the targeted audience for each social channel, creating a persuasive content strategy and targeted messaging that strikes a chord with the intended audience, and is unique to the typical interactions of each channel. The DMC should be confident in owning, presenting, and reporting on a social media strategy focused on lead generation, brand awareness, and other established marketing KPI's.
How you'll CREATE:
• Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, social calendar maintenance, and implementation schedules and manage against department KPI's
• Grows and expands each brand's social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and the DSPs (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music)
• Utilizes LinkedIn for lead generation of highly targeted content
• Develops a TikTok strategy as a continuously growing platform for musical brand awareness and user generated content
• Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members maintaining the integrity of the company's brand guidelines and mission
• Collects customer data and analyzes customer behavior and engagement to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
• Uses Sprout Social (or similar) for monitoring social listening , maintaining client relationships, lead generation, creating and scheduling daily content on all corporate accounts
• Analyzes recent licensing reports to choose marketing friendly client spots/credits based on client name or production title, to promote on social channels and external email communications
• Hunts and sources the music usage within client multimedia projects for marketing use
• Identifies and communicates with potential clients (video editors, music supervisors) through our various social channels
• Consistently comments on key clients and media companies posts and content keeping our brand and company top of mind and increasing visibility for leads and new business
• Creates content for organic social as needed, as well as repurposes existing content to include in e-mail blasts, online advertising, and sales collateral and support campaigns
• Assists Creative Manager in creation and production of:
• Sales proposals
• One sheets
• Brand logos
• Presentation Deck layouts
• Social media graphic assets
• Video content assets
• Website content
• Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, social calendar maintenance, and implementation schedules and manage against department KPI's
• Uploads images and content to the internal website management system and works with Manager on publishing of content and page updates
• Researches and monitors activity of UPM competitors on a quarterly basis
• Organizes and owns UPM's collection of digital assets on server and cloud storage
• SEM/PPC Platform specific implementation & management and collaboration with UPM Marketing Team on strategy and planning brand's social media strategy
• Other requests by management as needed
Bring your VIBE:
• 2+ years' experience in digital marketing and developing Social Media strategies
• Expert knowledge (and continued learning) of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, CRM (MS Dynamics, Salesforce a plus), as well as Microsoft Office applications, and project management apps (Trello, Microsoft Teams etc.).
• Connected to pop culture trends and new viral phenomena; quick thinking and adaptability are plus in order to be able to react to viral trends in a timely manner
• Understanding and ability to report on social media KPI's, SEO and web traffic metrics
• Great time management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in maintaining corporate and/or entertainment websites using content management software and familiarity with web design and publishing (Sitecore, WordPress a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs are a plus
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field preferred but not required

Salary Range:
$49,300- $75,460
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
