Part of Universal Music UK, Abbey Road Studios is a diverse and vibrant business comprising legendary and contemporary studio spaces, world class mixing & mastering, an online studio and production tools, together with music tech innovation, education and retail arms.From writing long-form blogs and copy for Abbey Road's social media, preparing visual assets and filming interviews with artists & engineers, to editing videos, developing motion graphics and photographing studio gear, every day is different in the life of the Content Marketing Intern at Abbey Road Studios. The B Side: Skills & ExperienceAssist in the management and delivery of Abbey Road Studios' social media and content marketing, researching & writing compelling copy, artworking brilliant digital and print assets, editing videos, building emails, helping to manage projects from photos shoots and filming, to online workshops and media interviews. • You know how to create visual assets: from digital and print artwork to video editing and photography.
• You're able to research and write compelling copy – both long-form articles and shorter social posts that inspire our audience and drive them into action.
• You think like a journalist, always taking an editorial perspective to every opportunity.Be Digital
• You have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of marketing and brand management, using digital media to achieve business & communications objectives
• You're familiar with HTML coding and know how to edit videos.
• You're immersed in social media trends and know how to use the major social media platforms to maximise engagement and track resultsBe Proactive
• Working within a small, fast-paced team, you want to own projects and deliver to the highest standard, ensuring complete accuracy and meeting deadlines at all times, with minimum support from your manager
• Self-motivated and driven, you take ownership and care about what you do, seeing things through to completion.

• You need to have a genuine passion for music and understand the music creation and production process
• Although you will interface with Universal Music from time to time, the role is based at Abbey Road Studios, and is very specific to the studio & production world. Please make sure you understand that you are applying for a role at a recording studioPerson SpecificationNecessary
• Exceptional written communication skills and grammatical accuracy, with experience of writing long-form articles
• Highly organised and driven worker, able to manage a number of tasks & projects at any one time
• Proficient design skills, using Photoshop and InDesign
• Confident user of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Proactive, problem solving, self-learner, wants responsibility
• Strong understanding of marketing communications fundamentals and techniques
• Good knowledge of Dreamweaver and basic HTML coding
• A team player with the self-confidence to work with people at all levels and from different backgrounds
• Deep passion for music with broad knowledge of genres and music creationDesirable
• Experience in a content marketing agency
• Degree or professional qualification in marketing communications, media or similar
• Experience of Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Knowledge of music production process
