Job title: CRM & Consumer Marketing Intern
Responsible to: CRM & Consumer Marketing Coordinator
Department: Commercial UK
Location of work: 4 Pancras Square, Kings Cross
The A Side: A Day in The Life
Reporting to the CRM & Consumer Marketing Coordinator, this role forms part of a comprehensive consumer relationship-marketing service to the UK Business & Labels, all other areas of Universal but most importantly consumers. This role will be working alongside the CRM & Consumer Marketing team who are responsible for growing the value of consumer data through the implementation of strategic group-wide initiatives and new consumer technology.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Administrative
• Support labels on our in-house CRM systems and Technology
• Daily administrative data tasks and regular audits across all systems and assets
• Support CRM & Consumer Marketing Coordinator with Monitoring & Reporting of all eCRM and e-commerce activity on a monthly basis
• Meeting co-ordination – agendas, follow up on label meetings with notes and action points
• Compile and execute the monthly Genre Newsletters
Be Collaborative
• Supporting labels in their day-to-day CRM email campaigns
• Support CRM & Consumer Marketing team with Best Practice and Case Study materials (excel, PowerPoint)
• Support CRM & Consumer Marketing Coordinator with the co-ordination of labels and platform developers for site builds on in-house website builder and WordPress platform
• Support all labels & digital marketing with CRM system queries and help collate and brief new developments to the development team
• Support labels with new website requests and go live process checks
• Additional ad hoc duties & reports when required
Be Conscientious
• Checking of email campaigns and ensuring they meet our required checks and best practices
• Research and keep up to date on all aspects of CRM and feedback to labels & central digital
• Pro-actively clean and update the consumers & their attributes on the CRM database
• Consumer GDPR & Data Privacy checks and updates to ensure compliance and assist labels to ensure GDPR compliance in all CRM campaigning
Person Specification
Necessary
• Digitally savvy with good awareness of CRM and comfortable with systems and technology
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
• Highly numerate with an analytical mind
• Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and all other basic functionalities are a must
• Self-motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Good computer skills i.e.: Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, PowerPoint
• Awareness of Consumer Relationship Marketing and the part data plays within the marketing environment
Desirable
• Experience of working in an office environment
• Basic HTML skills, particularly with email focus
• Track record of working in multi-tasking high pressure environment
• Knowledge of digital marketing / digital music developments
• Past experience using CRM systems and campaigning
• Experience of WordPress platforms and/or plugins
