As a leader in the music industry, we are always looking for talented and driven individuals to join our family. We are hiring a Junior Product Manager to join the Urban Marketing Department.
How we LEAD:
We are currently seeking an eager and exceptional Junior Product Manager who will be responsible for promoting Interscope artists through creative and innovative marketing strategies. The Junior Product Manager serves as a communication link between Interscope, label partners, managers, agents and others; communicating marketing initiatives, best practices and priorities for a given project. This role is also the internal central hub of communication, quarterbacking the collective efforts of the larger team.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Assist with the release schedules and marketing campaigns for assigned releases.
• In charge with all processes related to project marketing including asset delivery and production schedule.
• Manage deadlines and develop essential marketing material for each project — including sales sheets, marketing plans, creative assets, social media, editorial content and advertising assets.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to plan, manage, and execute marketing strategies across paid digital channels.
• Closely coordinate activities of all internal departments and external personnel/partner labels to ensure project success.
• Maintain artist calendars and promotional itineraries
• Serve as primary point of contact with artists and management regarding marketing activities and overall access to UMG resources
• Work closely with artist to develop social media strategy and schedule
• Brainstorm streaming/playlisting strategy
• Manage artist DSP profile presentation and optimization
• Initiate and facilitate special promotions and events to increase brand awareness
• Create synergies between internal departments and artist managements
• Create, build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners (brands, lifestyle accounts, media, influencers)
Bring your VIBE:
• 3-4 years of experience in music marketing, ideally working at a label
• Urban music genre and culture knowledge
• Experience in Microsoft Office, creative programs such as Photoshop a plus!
• Strong knowledge of the digital marketplace for music consumption
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of people (written, verbal, presentation)
• Experience in digital marketing, CRM, audience engagement and analytics
• Needs to be a creative but strategic marketer who is driven by innovation
• Extremely organized with superior time management skills
• Passionate music fan
• Proven strong leadership skills
• Bachelor’s preferred.
