As the Broadcasting Intern, you will report to the Director of Athletic Communications and support game-day coverage, social media content creation, and video production at USA Baseball events. You will broadcast games, conduct interviews, and assist with creating content to promote USA Baseball's events and programs.

POSITION DETAILS
• Full-time hours (40 hours/week)
• Role type: On-Site
• Based in Cary, NC with a fully dedicated workstation during standard business hours.
• USA Baseball has 2 Intern, Broadcasting positions available
IN THIS ROLE
• You will broadcast games at the National Training Complex, covering events like the National Team Championships and Futures Invitational.
• You will conduct pre- and post-game interviews with players and coaches for social media and other platforms.
• You will assist in producing content for USA Baseball's social media channels and digital platforms.
• You will collaborate with the communications team to conduct interviews for feature content.
• You will prepare for games by researching players and statistics and assisting with game-day logistics.
• You will support the production of video projects and other creative content.
• You will assist other departments and contribute to the overall success of the organization as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• You have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• You have an excellent attitude and work well in a team setting.
• You are flexible and adaptable to changing organizational needs, including events held at the National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
• You have the ability to multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities as assigned.
• You are willing and able to work flexible, demanding hours.
• You are passionate about baseball and have an understanding of the amateur baseball landscape.
• You can work in both Mac and PC environments.
• You are in possession of or working towards a degree.
Preferred
• You have previous experience in live sports broadcasting.
