This is a Part Time Job
THE JOB
• Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre is looking for an experienced Part 107 drone pilot to join our team, or a pilot in training, or an individual willing to receive the education to help ensure safe events through drone observation and reporting. This position will be responsible for operating preprogrammed flight paths, as well as independent flights and drone maintenance.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Fulfill the RPIC role while drones are in operation throughout the day and evening of a concert or event.
• Observe the drone during preprogrammed flight paths.
• As needed, manually control the drone, while following FAA regulations.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of preprogrammed flight patterns.
• Perform preflight inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance of drones and docking stations.
• Effectively coordinate with Dispatch to mitigate risk.
• Keep detailed logs of flights and maintenance.
• Observe and report what is seen from the drone footage to applicable parties.
• Communicate directly with venue management throughout the event.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Proof of current Part 107 Drone License, or rather, willing to obtain Part 107 Drone License
• High Proficiency in drone flight and drone software utilization.
• Knowledge of FAA guidelines.
• Experience in communication with product support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working at heights.
• Ability to stay stagnant for multiple hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft products (word, excel, power point).
